“Aberrance” is a psychological thriller that delves into the depths of manipulation and deceit. The film follows a couple, Selenge and Erkhme, who move into a secluded house in Mongolia. While the husband encourages Selenge to pursue her art, he exhibits controlling and abusive behavior, keeping her isolated and medicated.
Their neighbor becomes suspicious, hearing screams and noticing Selenge’s confinement. As the story unfolds, Selenge’s grip on reality wavers, with strange dreams and hallucinations blurring the lines between reality and illusion.
The film's tension escalates as it becomes clear that deeper, more sinister plots are at play, leading to a shocking and violent conclusion.

"Aberrance" became the first Mongolian horror film to receive a theatrical release in North America on October 6, 2023. The film will be available on VOD in 2024.
