Drake got seven nominations, leading with Album of the Year for "For All The Dogs (Scary Hours Edition)" and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. Nicki Minaj follows with six nods, including Album of the Year for "Pink Friday 2" and Best Female Hip Hop Artist.
J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA, and Victoria Monét are also top nominees with five each. Performers include Victoria Monét, GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, and Shaboozey. Fans can vote on BET's website in categories like Best Female and Male R&B/Pop Artist, Best Group, and Best Collaboration. Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Chris Brown, and Usher are some big names in these categories.
The theme for this year's BET Awards is "Standing On Culture." Before the main event, there's the BET Experience with Cardi B, Davido, Queen Latifah, comedy shows, and a roller-skating rink.
