Bgms Format
The BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3, which runs from July 19 to August 11, 2024, has a unique format that consists of four main stages:
Opening Week (July 19-21):
- This initial stage features 24 teams competing over three days. Each team plays four matches, and the top 18 teams advance to the League Week. Additionally, two teams from the bottom six can qualify based on fan voting.
League Week (July 22 - August 4):
- This stage involves 20 teams, including two fan favorites. It is divided into two phases: Survival and Domination, with two matches each day (three on Sundays). The top four teams from this week will qualify for the Grand Finals, while the fifth to twentieth-ranked teams move to the Playoffs.
Playoffs (August 6-7):
- Over two days, the top 12 teams from the League Week will compete in six matches. The bottom eight teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
Grand Finals (August 9-11):
- The finals will have 16 teams, consisting of four from the League and 12 from the Playoffs. A total of nine games will be played to determine the champion.
