This pattern of buying rare resources at shrines will keep going as you advance in the game, so always check the shrine stock and use your Will to buy silk when you can.

If you don't want to fight, you can buy silk from the store, but it will cost 600 Will per piece. It's not worth buying silk when you're just starting the game.

Top Locations for Silk Farming

To find the best silk in Black Myth: Wukong, go to the Rockrest Flat area in the Yellow Wind Ridge region. This place is in the second chapter of the game, and you can reach it by fast-traveling to the shrine under Fright Cliff. Once you are there, defeat the enemies and then use the shrine to make them respawn. Keep doing this until you collect enough silk for your armor.

For a bit more challenge, you can also fight the Stone Vanguard nearby. This boss is tougher, but beating it can earn you extra Will to help level up your abilities. However, the Stone Vanguard probably won't drop much silk, so it’s better to focus on farming at Rockrest Flat for silk.

Uses of Silk

In Black Myth: Wukong, you will need silk to craft most armor sets. As you unlock new armor, crafting them will help you play better in different areas. To craft new armor, go to any Shrine, open the crafting menu, and choose "Craft Armor." Then select the armor set you want to make. Be careful because crafting uses up your silk and you can’t undo it once done.
