In Cat Quest III, there are 21 Trinkets you can find to boost your gameplay. Choosing the right Trinket might be tricky, but by the second half of the game, you can equip up to four Trinkets to strengthen your Cat and make them almost invincible. Trinkets work with spells, armor, and weapons to enhance your build, offering benefits like extra attack moves or increased dodge range. Finding all 21 Trinkets can be challenging, but you can see their locations listed below.

Most Trinkets in Cat Quest III are useful and can be found throughout the Purribean. To equip a Trinket, go to your inventory and select the last tab with a diamond symbol. There, you can see and choose from all your Trinkets.

Even after finding a Trinket, you might come across it again in other places. For example, the Electric Current Trinket can appear when you defeat Meowtallica enemies and will be automatically upgraded for free. This helps you save gold for weapons and armor instead of buying Trinkets.

The Lousy Trinkets and Bird Poop are negative and not worth equipping. Instead, try picking Trinkets that add extra effects to your attacks, like those that extend your attack range or add bonuses. The Boar Tusk is also helpful if you often dodge through enemies.

The Oinker Ring can be useful for extending your dodge, but it’s not always perfect. Sometimes, the extra dodge distance can make you move into enemy attacks, especially in tight boss fights like in the Flame Pi-rat Hideout.

Upgrading Trinkets in Cat Quest 3

More Drops & Spending Gold

  • You can upgrade Trinkets just by playing the game. They drop from enemies and random chests.
  • To find the locations of these chests, check out the YouTube video from 100% Guides.
  • You can also upgrade Trinkets at the forge, just like weapons and armor. They can be upgraded up to your player level. In New Game+, the level cap is around Level 100.
  • Focus on upgrading your favorite Trinkets and don’t worry about the rest.
  • Some good Trinkets for the end of the game are the Electric Circuit, Meowtallika's Pick, the Oinker Ring (despite its issues), and the Magical Glove. These don’t need to be upgraded a lot or spend gold to be effective.
  • That’s all you need to know about Trinkets in Cat Quest III!
