The Courteeners are a band from Middleton, Greater Manchester, England. They were formed in 2006 by Liam Fray, who sings and plays lead guitar, Michael Campbell, who plays drums and does backing vocals, Daniel "Conan" Moores, who plays rhythm guitar, and Mark Cuppello, who plays bass.

The band's producer Joe Cross took Mark's place in 2015. Additionally, they had a pianist named Adam Payne who played on all of their albums until Elina Lin replaced him in 2019. Joe Cross and Elina Lin joined the band as official members in 2024.

"St. Jude" (2008), "Falcon" (2010), "Anna" (2013), "Concrete Love" (2014), "Mapping the Rendezvous" (2016), and "More. Again. Forever." (2020) are the six studio albums that The Courteeners have released. They have also put out two DVD albums and a number of EPs.

Liam Fray, who wrote all of their songs, claims that they are all based on his own experiences. They rebranded themselves as "Courteeners" instead of "The Courteeners" in December 2012.
