However, her sister is in danger since she has been kidnapped to serve as Elodie's replacement. Elodie goes back to face the dragon and convinces it to work with her to bring down the dishonest royals in the country. By destroying the palace, they save Elodie's sister and restore justice to the realm. Ultimately, the dragon, who is now a friend, sails home with Elodie, her sister, and their family.

"Damsel" is available for streaming on Netflix, and it was originally scheduled to be released on October 13, 2023. However, due to the impact of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike on the film's promotion, the release date was postponed. On March 8, 2024, the movie was finally available for streaming.
