Paranormal Activity events in Destiny 2's The Final Shape occur around the Pale Heart of the Traveller.

These events only trigger in areas where you have discovered and healed a Ghost. After completing an "Alone in the Dark" quest and submitting it to Micah-10, that location will then host Paranormal Activity. There are a total of 11 locations, requiring you to finish eleven "Alone in the Dark" quests to access them all.

Completing all eleven events will reward you with the Paracausal Geometries triumph and unlock the First Knife exotic ship.

Paranormal Activity events in Destiny 2’s Pale Heart area are essential for achieving the Paracausal Geometries Triumph. There are five main locations where these events can take place, and here’s how to solve each one:

The Blooming

Commune with the Light in the ravine and proceed toward either the Light or Darkness cube. Both cubes are visible and close to each other, making it easy to complete the event by shooting them.

The Impasse

Start by interacting with the Light at the base of the pyramid. Jump towards the Darkness cube on the pyramid’s side, then climb on top of it. From there, jump to a nearby mid-height pillar with no statue on top. You can see the Darkness cube behind you and the Light cube over a low wall at the map's edge.

The Lost City

Climb to the base of the large statue in the courtyard. The Light cube is directly behind you on the main Tower building, and the Darkness cube is to the left by a building's edge.

Lost City Outskirts

Commune with the Light behind the large gates, then move into the courtyard with a large tree surrounded by Hive. Head left, and jump up to a raised area next to two doors behind a smaller tree. You can see the Light cube through a small green gate and the Darkness cube through the large tree in the courtyard's center.

The Transgression

Enter the small corridor beneath where you start the event by communing with the Light inside the atrium area. The Light and Darkness cubes are located at either end of the hall, making them easy to locate and shoot.

How to Complete Paranormal Activity in Destiny 2?

To successfully finish the Paranormal Activity event in Destiny 2, engage with the designated area to 'commune with the Light'. Afterwards, locate the spot where you have a clear view of both the Light and Darkness cubes simultaneously.

Use Darkness weapons to damage the red cube representing Darkness and Light weapons to damage the blue cube representing Light. It's crucial to note that the Paranormal Activity event is only accessible when the node appears on your map, although the specific conditions for its spawn are not yet understood.

Whenever you spot the node indicating Paranormal Activity on your map, make your way to that location to initiate the investigation into the mysterious artifacts reported by Ghosts. Upon reaching the designated area, interact to start communing with the Light and kick off the Paranormal Activity event.

This action grants you the Aura of Balance. Shooting either the Light or Darkness cubes will tether them to you, creating a connection between Light and Darkness. Therefore, position yourself strategically to shoot both cubes simultaneously and establish the crucial link between Light and Darkness for the successful completion of the event.

Destiny 2 Paranormal Activity Rewards

Completing a Paranormal Activity event in Destiny 2 will reward you with two Pale Heart engrams and a small amount of Glimmer. These engrams are valuable for unlocking Pale Heart Legendary weapons like The Call, which may include red-border crafting variants.

Additionally, finishing all Paranormal Activity events in the Pale Heart area will fulfill the Paracausal Geometries Triumph. This achievement unlocks The First Knife Ghost Shell as a special reward for your efforts.
