Diablo 4 has a big map for players to explore and find loot. With the new Vessel of Hatred update, players can now visit the jungles of Nahantu, which has its own Tenets of Akarat. Unlike the Altars of Lilith, these Tenets need you to solve a small puzzle to activate them.

And while they don’t give permanent boosts, they help you earn renown and cool rewards. Some Tenets ask you to activate all three statues quickly, so using Evade can help you reach the last one faster.

Tenets of Akarat in Five Hills

• The first Tenet is in the ruins south of Kurast. Kill enemies near the statues and attack the corruption.
• The second Tenet is southwest of the first one, in the middle of the map. Interact with the statue and defeat the enemies that appear.
• The third Tenet is in the southwest corner of Five Hills. Activate the left and right statues of the Tenet.
• The fourth Tenet is in the southeast corner. Activate the left and right statues, then activate the rightmost statue.
• The fifth Tenet is in the northwest corner. Activate all three statues.

Tenets of Akarat in Seven Stones

• The sixth Tenet is on the south edge of Seven Stones. Light the statue that matches the one at the waterfall's top.
• The seventh Tenet is in a small cave west of Kurast. Light all three statues quickly to activate it.
• The eighth Tenet is left of the path to Chakhir Stronghold. Light all three statues there.
• The ninth Tenet is northwest of Murmuring Spiral dungeon. Kill enemies to reignite the statues, then destroy the corruption.
• The tenth Tenet is in the north corner of the map. Light the statue and kill enemies that appear.

Tenets of Akarat in Lingering Hatred

• The eleventh Tenet is northeast of Remnants of Rage dungeon. Light the statue next to the Tenet.
• The twelfth Tenet is southeast of Kurast Docks. Light the statue and defeat the enemies that spawn.
• The thirteenth Tenet is north of Kurast. Kill enemies around to restore lights to the statues and destroy the corruption.
• The fourteenth Tenet is northeast of Forge of Malice dungeon. Quickly activate all three statues.
• The fifteenth Tenet is left of The Den icon. Activate all three statues there.

Tenets of Akarat in Teganze Plaza

• The sixteenth Tenet is north of Sleepless Hollow dungeon. Kill enemies around it to restore lights to the statues and destroy corruption.
• The seventeenth Tenet is on a cliff between Sleepless Hollow and Farai Cliffs dungeon.
• The eighteenth Tenet is outside Kichuk Stronghold. Activate the statue and defeat the Shades of Hatred.
• The nineteenth Tenet is east of Farai Cliffs dungeon. Light statues that match the ones on the opposite side of the ravine.
• The twentieth Tenet is on the eastern edge of Teganze Plaza. Quickly activate all three statues.

Tenets of Akarat in Field of Giants

• The twenty-first Tenet is off the path leading north to Teganze Plateau. Activate statues matching the position below you.
• The twenty-second Tenet is southwest of Forgotten Remains dungeon.
• The twenty-third Tenet is west of the twenty-first Tenet. Quickly light all three statues in a short time.
• The twenty-fourth Tenet is northeast of Ichorfall. Kill enemies and destroy the corruption once the lights return.
• The twenty-fifth Tenet is southwest of Ichorfall. Kill all Shades of Hatred after activating the lion statue.

Tenets of Akarat in Restless Canopy

• The twenty-sixth Tenet is east of Viz-jun. Activate all three statues there.
• The twenty-seventh Tenet is northeast of Festering Dark stronghold. Activate all three statues.
• The twenty-eighth Tenet is northwest of Festering Dark. Activate two statues to match the two lit ones below.
• The twenty-ninth Tenet is east of Kurast. Kill enemies around the Tenet and destroy the corruption once the lights are back.
• The thirtieth Tenet is west of Ularian Sepulcher dungeon. Kill the Shades of Hatred that appear and interact with the Tenet.

Ways to Solve Tenets of Akarat Puzzles

• Activation Method:
  • Tenets of Akarat: You cannot just walk up and claim them. You need to free them from Mephisto’s black ichor by solving puzzles.
  • Altars of Lilith: These can be activated easily without puzzles.
• Puzzles to Solve:
  You need to solve one of four types of puzzles:
  • Activate all three lion statues in time.
  • Destroy the black ichor with your attacks.
  • Defeat enemies that appear from the statue.
  • Match the statues shown in the background.
• Common Puzzle:
  • The most common puzzle is activating three lion statues before they snuff out. You have time to find them, and they are usually close together.
• Golden Orbs:
  • After defeating enemies near a Tenet, golden orbs may appear. This means you need to attack the Tenet. Hit it with a basic skill until its health bar appears, then keep attacking.
• Red Lion Statue:
  • Some Tenets have a red lion statue nearby. Activating this will cause Shades of Hatred to appear, which you must defeat.
• Background Statues:
  • The hardest puzzle involves three lion statues in the background. They will be lit in a specific order. You need to activate the nearby statues to match the order.

What are the Tenets of Akarat?

The Tenets of Akarat are special points of interest in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, found in the new Nahantu region. They are similar to the Altars of Lilith, as you need to collect many of them to upgrade your reputation and earn valuable Paragon and skill points.

However, unlike the Altars, the Tenets of Akarat require you to solve a small puzzle to activate them. Additionally, they do not provide any permanent boosts to your character's stats like the Altars of Lilith do.
