Even though it didn't stick to the original story, Akira Toriyama, the creator, still jumped in to create some cool new characters. Dragon Ball GT ended up the animated series until Dragon Ball Super arrived in 2015, leaving fans with fond memories of its unique adventure.

Dragon Ball GT Ending Explained

In the exciting finale of Dragon Ball GT, Goku, though he is a child form because of a wish by Emperor Pilaf, fights against the mighty Omega Shenron to protect Earth. Despite his size, Goku fights a massive Super Ultra Spirit Bomb, defeating Omega Shenron in an epic battle. Afterward, Shenron appears, explaining that the overuse of the Dragon Balls has drained his power, leading to the creation of the Shadow Dragons.

Convinced by Goku, Shenron grants one last wish to revive those lost in the conflicts caused by Super 17 and the Shadow Dragons before departing to restore his energy. As Goku sets off on a new journey, the story jumps ahead a hundred years, showing Goku's children, Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr., participating in the World Martial Arts Tournament. The tournament celebrates Goku's legacy, highlighting the enduring impact of his adventures.

Additionally, in the movie "A Hero's Legacy," Goku Jr. involves on a brave search to help his grandmother Pan, embodying the themes of courage and family passed down through generations in the Dragon Ball universe.

Dragon Ball GT Plot

Dragon Ball GT has three main parts. First, Goku becomes a kid and goes on a trip with his friends to find special balls to save Earth. They fight a bad guy named Baby who wants revenge. Goku turns super strong and beats Baby, but Earth gets hurt. Next, some bad scientists make a mean robot, but Goku stops him with help.

Then, bad dragons come because people used magic balls wrong. Goku and his friends fight them, and Goku makes a big boom to win. Finally, everything gets better, and Goku's family keeps going. Goku says bye and takes the magic balls away, ending the story.
