Fallout Ending Explained

The end of "Fallout" shows some major secrets being revealed and a lot of fighting going on. Vault-Tec, the company that developed the vaults, where people hid during the war is shown. Some Vaults were built as part of a covert plan to breed certain people to become future leaders.

The main characters, including Lucy and her brother Norm, learn about the plan. Lucy's father, Hank, works for Vault-Tec, but he's not a good guy. He even bombed the town of Shady Sands, turning Lucy's mother into a ghoul.

Lucy and her friends, along with groups such as the Brotherhood of Steel and the New California Republic, fight Vault-Tec and each other to obtain a special item known as a cold fusion reactor, which functions similarly to a super-powerful battery.

At the end, there is a big fight, and Lucy must decide whether she will forgive her father. Before she can make up her mind, her friend Maximus frees her father.

Hank flees to a place called New Vegas. This is significant because it is a well-known location in the Fallout world. It suggests that there may be more adventure in the future.

When the Brotherhood of Steel arrives, Moldaver's forces are strongly crushed and she is severely injured.

Fortunately, she is able to obtain Dr. Wilzig's revolutionary cold fusion energy technology just in time. Moldaver activates the reactor as her life is slipping away, knowing it is a critical invention.

Moldaver and Maximus, alongside Rose's Ghoul body, witness the return of Los Angeles' lights after years of darkness.

Despite the dire circumstances, Moldaver's decision to activate the reactor provides hope to future generations in the Wasteland, offering a rare and valuable resource.

Knight of the Brotherhood of Steel

Moldaver, who has been severely injured by the Brotherhood of Steel, discovers Dr. Wilzig's revolutionary cold fusion energy technology just in time to activate the reactor as her life is slipping away, knowing it is a critical invention.

Moldaver and Maximus, along with Rose's Ghoul body, witness the return of Los Angeles' lights after many years of darkness. Moldaver turns on a reactor, giving hope to future generations of the Wasteland.

Maximus, knocked out by Hank, awakens to the lights of Los Angeles, mistakenly believing he killed Moldaver. Dane declares Maximus an official Knight of the Brotherhood of Steel, fulfilling a dream he's had since the beginning of the series.

Maximus now wants to be with Lucy and start a new life at Vault 33, and he may have some choice words for Hank, now that he knows who destroyed his home.

Vault-Tec Launched Its Own Nuclear Weapons

In the Fallout video games, Lucy discovers that Vault-Tec is not the altruistic corporation it is portrayed as. In 2077, Vault-Tec deploys nuclear weapons to keep defunct vaults from becoming unused relics.

Cooper's wife, executive Barb Howard, uncovers the company's sinister nature. Vault-Tec plans to drop nuclear bombs on America and negotiates with successful companies like Westec to gain control of various Vaults.

This will determine the best company to lead the post-war United States, leading to a capitalist struggle for the future. The New California Republic emerged 200 years after the first nuclear weapons were dropped, with Shady Sands as its capital.

New Vegas

Lucy finally discovers the truth about her Vault and Hank, which leads to a fight between the Moldaver's forces, the Brotherhood, and Cooper.

The Brotherhood of Steel and Cooper take Hank hostage at Moldaver's new base, sparking conflict between Lucy and her father. Maximus, with whom Lucy develops a romantic relationship, releases Hank before Lucy rescues him.

Hank steals a Power Armor and flees Moldaver's compound with Lucy, but is stopped by Cooper, a 2077-like character. Without Lucy's support, Hank flees to New Vegas, presumably a safe haven for Vault-Tec employees.

Will There Be a Season 2 of Fallout?

The first season of Fallout has come to an end with a total of eight thrilling episodes, leaving fans wondering if there will be a second season to this game-based series.

The series' final scenes hint at a possible next season. The appearance of New Vegas, a well-known location in Fallout history, opens up new plot possibilities.
