Hudson West plays Jake Webber on General Hospital. Although Jake has left Port Charles to attend art school in Spain, his departure isn't permanent. He'll still appear on the show from time to time, like many other characters.

Jake is the son of Jason Morgan and Elizabeth Webber. He first appeared on the show in 2007, originally played by child actors Landon and Trey, then by Amanda, Miranda, and Maryssa Jones.

James Patrick Stuart

Valentin recently left Port Charles on General Hospital because he was involved in the Pikeman scam, which could cause serious legal problems for him. He asked Anna Devane, with whom he's started a romantic relationship, to join him, but she refused.

His departure is only temporary, and he may come back to Port Charles once things settle down. Valentin first appeared on General Hospital on July 8, 2016, and has been played by James Patrick Stuart since then.

Rick Hearst announced on Instagram on July 25, 2024, that he's returning to General Hospital after an eight-year break since he left the show on July 21, 2016. Rick is well-known in the world of soap operas and he is a talented actor as well.

He first appeared on General Hospital on November 8, 2002. According to a report from TV Insider, his character, Ric Lansing, will be back on screen in the episode airing on August 19, 2024.

Lindsay Hartley

Daytime veteran Lindsay Hartley returned as Sam McCall last week, filling in for Kelly Monaco. The actress shared on Instagram that she’s "grateful to be stepping in again." Hartley first played Sam in 2020, and it looks like she's back for a short time.
