Genshin 5.0 Release Date

HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact 5.0 update will release on August 28, 2024. The upcoming patch will bring brand-new characters and will be one of the major updates in Genshin Impact, as it will start the sixth chapter and the fourth anniversary of Genshin Impact.

How to Redeem Genshin Impact Codes?

You'll need to reach Adventure Rank 10 first to redeem all kinds of codes, but once you do there are two separate methods for claiming the livestream ones. You can redeem codes through the game:

• Start Genshin Impact
• Open menu
• Choose Settings and Account
• Select Redeem Now and enter a code in the box
• Claim your rewards from the mailbox

Through the official code site:

• Go to Genshin Impact redemption site
• Enter the login details and pick your region
• Type or paste the code in the box and select redeem
• Grab the rewards from the in-game mailbox

Genshin 5.0 Release Time

Update 5.0 will bring three new characters and the first part of the Archon Quest.

Genshin Impact 5.0 Banner

Like every other patch, the Genshin Impact 5.0 Banner will be divided into two phases. Below is a list of the event wishes where players can use their Primogems to obtain their desired character.

Phase 1 (August 28)

• Mualani (5-star, Hydro, Catalyst)
• Kazuha (5-star, Anemo, Sword)
• Kachina (4-star, Geo, Polearm)

Phase 2 (September 17)

• Kinich (5-star, Dendro, Claymore)
• Raiden Shogun (5-star, Electro, Polearm)

Additionally, two new weapons, Surf's Up (Catalyst for Mualani) and Fang of the Mountain King (Claymore for Kinich) will be available along with the characters during the Genshin Impact version.

Genshin Impact 5.0 New Characters

The characters arriving in Genshin Impact Version 5.0 are Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina.

• Mualani is a 5-star Hydro catalyst wielder from People of the Springs.
• Kinich is a 5-star Dendro claymore wielder from Scions of the Canopy.
• Kachina is a 4-star Geo polearm wielder from Children of Echoes.

Kachina can be invited to the team for free by completing the first act of Natlan Archon Quest.

Players may find Mualani and Kachina in the first phase banner, along with Kaedehara Kazuha's rerun. Kinich and Raiden Shogun will feature in the second phase banner.

Genshin Impact 5.0 Story and Quests

Genshin Impact Version 5.0 will allow players to explore the following: Children of the Echoes, Scions of the Canopy, and People of the Springs. Each tribe will have a three-part quest that you can start by visiting the tribe's Obsidian Totem Pole. These quests will tell you more about the tribe's people, warriors, and traditions.

You can also find Bounties and Supply Notices that will give you Reputation EXP and valuable rewards.

Genshin Impact is an open-world game that allows players to control one of four characters in a party. In the game, switching between characters can be done during combat, allowing players to use different combinations of skills and attacks. Characters have their abilities by leveling up and improving the artifacts and weapons. Players can attempt various rewards. Scattered across Teyvat are bosses and challenges that reward resources, but can be claimed only with currency called Original Resin. Completing these challenges grants player progress in the Adventure Rank, which unlocks new quests, challenges, and raises the World Level.
