If you’re trying to decide which Helldivers armor set is best to equip first, you’ll need to understand the distinctions between each type. Armor stats aren’t really that important when you’re preparing your diver. It’s a one-of-a-kind buff that can provide additional protection against certain types of damage or even additional consumables such as grenades or Stims.

So, if you’re gearing up your dive, you’re probably also wondering what weapons to take and what Stratagems you should be using when dropping into enemy territory. In Light Armor, you’ll suffer less damage absorption, but your sprint time will be longer and your stamina regeneration will be faster.

Medium Armor is the middle ground between the two, offering a bit more damage resistance but a bit less endurance. Democracy Protects

This passive grants a 50% chance to not die when taking deadly damage. If your chest bleeds, it will prevent all damage from occurring. This passive is available for the first time with the standard Warbond DP-40 hero of the federations set on the fifth page of the normal Warbond, as well as the standard warbond DP-11 champion of the people set on the tenth page.
