How Did Butcher Kill Ezekiel in The Boys Season 4?
In The Boys Season 4, Episode 4, Butcher appears to have used a mysterious worm-like creature inside him to kill Ezekiel. During a fight where Ezekiel was overpowering Butcher, the worm, possibly empowered by Compound V, emerged and took control.
As Butcher was losing consciousness, the worm seemed to act on its own, causing Ezekiel to explode into pieces. This suggests that the worm has granted Butcher some deadly abilities, which he might not fully understand yet. This unexpected turn of events hints at Butcher gaining a significant advantage over his enemies, potentially altering the balance of power in future episodes.
What is The Worm Inside Butcher?
The worm inside Butcher in The Boys Season 4 appears to be a result of his exposure to Compound V, injected in a futile attempt to cure his cancer. Initially seen as a side effect of his deteriorating health, the worm reveals itself to be much more.
During a critical moment in Episode 4, when Butcher is in mortal danger from Ezekiel, the worm emerges and displays a lethal ability. It violently dispatches Ezekiel, suggesting it grants Butcher a newfound power, possibly linked to Compound V.
The Boys Season 4
The fourth season of "The Boys," based on the comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, was developed by Eric Kripke and produced by Sony Pictures Television, along with several other studios. Set six months after the last season, the storyline follows Victoria Neuman's rise towards the presidency under Homelander's influence.
