This expansion introduces a new subclass called "Prismatic," which combines Light and Darkness abilities. It also brings new missions, locations, maps, gear, weapons, and a new raid. Instead of four seasonal updates, there will be three large episodes called Echoes, Revenant, and Heresy, each with three parts.

Echoes will start on June 11, 2024, with the other episodes coming in October 2024 and February 2025. The expansion also sees the return of Cayde-6, a character who was killed in a previous expansion.

How to Expunge Chests in the Pale Heart in Destiny 2?

Locating the Chests

To find chests in the Pale Heart area of Destiny 2, look for them on the map. They are often hidden behind puzzles or in hard-to-reach places.

Starting the Event

Interact with the chest to begin the event. Stand on the glowing well of Light marked with a floating Grenade symbol, similar to those in Dares of Eternity.

Destroying Cysts

While standing on the well of Light, look for cysts growing on the hands and arms around you. Use grenades that stick or explode on impact to destroy all the cysts.

Avoid Leaving the Well

Do not move away from the glowing well of Light during the event, as this will cause you to fail the activity.

Advancing in Overthrow

Opening corrupted chests contributes significantly to your progress in the ongoing Overthrow event. This can help you quickly reach higher levels in the event.

Additional Tips

Ensure you have the right grenades that can effectively target and destroy the cysts hanging overhead. This will help you complete the event successfully without complications.

Starting the Process

Upon interaction, dark and orange glowing blobs will appear in the area, along with a glowing grenade site on the ground. Standing on this site grants you unlimited grenade power.

Destroying the Blobs

Use your grenades to destroy all the glowing blobs scattered around you. These blobs won't take damage unless hit by your grenades, so make sure to aim accurately.

Choosing the Right Grenade

Equip grenades that do not bounce to ensure precise shots. This optimization is crucial, especially with your Prismatic class.

Checking Surroundings

Be thorough in checking your surroundings to ensure you destroy all blobs. They can be located in various spots around the area.

Completing the Event

Once all blobs are destroyed, interact with the chest again to dispel its corruption. This action rewards you with loot and completes the corresponding Pathfinder challenge.

Additional Information

Completing the campaign is a prerequisite to unlocking the Pathfinder for the Pale Heart location and similar activities. If you haven't completed the campaign, you'll need to do so first, which can be time-consuming, especially on Legendary difficulty.
