How to Gain Influence in Manor Lords?
- Building and upgrading a Church, which helps you earn Influence. For example, upgrading a Wooden Church to a Stone Church gives you 250 Influence. It also requires 5x timber, 20x planks, and 10x stone to construct. Churches also help in developing Burgage Plots, which are important for regional growth.
- Building and upgrading a Manor, which is another effective way to gain Influence. Once you reach the small settlement status, you can build a Manor, allowing you to tax people and land, helping you conquer nearby lands and gain influence.
- Charging Tithe as part of your Manor tax, which allows you to gain Influence in exchange for your surplus food supply. However, increasing the Tithe charge percentage can give you only small amounts of Influence while reducing your food supply.
- Eliminating nearby Bandit Camps, which directly helps you gain Influence. Each Bandit eliminated from these camps yields 20 Influence, which can add up to around 100 to 300 Influence per camp. This method is particularly effective for gaining influence early in the game.
Manor Lords Claim Territory
In Manor Lords, claiming territory means choosing a region on the Diplomacy map and using your Influence to claim it. If another lord contests your claim, you'll have to fight their army to secure the region or stop them from claiming it. If there's no contest, you or the enemy lord will get the region at the end of the allocated time. The process of claiming land involves using Influence, and it usually takes one month for the claim to be official. This process allows you to expand your territory and create more villages and trade routes between them.
Manor Lords How to Claim Territory
To claim territory in Manor Lords, you use your Influence to start the claiming process for a region on the map. It usually costs about 1,000 Influence for unclaimed regions and 2,000 for regions controlled by other lords. After claiming a region, you might have to wait for a rival lord to challenge your claim. If they do, you'll have to fight their army to take the region or prevent them from claiming it. If there's no challenge, you or the rival lord will get the region at the end of the set time.
Manor Lords
Manor Lords is a game where you can be a medieval lord. You start with a village and can turn it into a big city, manage resources, and expand your lands. The game has city building, battles, and economic simulations. It tries to be historically accurate, based on the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia. Manor Lords lets you build cities without a grid, and you can place and rotate buildings as you want. The buildings are inspired by history from the 11th to 15th century Europe.
