Microcosm In Destiny 2
Microcosm is a special weapon in Destiny 2 that stands out for a couple of reasons. First, it's a Heavy trace rifle, which is quite rare. Secondly, unlike most Heavy weapons, it doesn't deal elemental damage; instead, it deals Kinetic damage. Despite this, it still packs a punch and can deal decent damage. This makes it a valuable addition to any Prismatic builds, especially if you're aiming to trigger Transcendence frequently.
Microcosm comes with two unique Exotic perks. The first one, called Paracausal Beam, allows the weapon to fire Kinetic light, dealing significant bonus damage to shields. The second perk, Paracausal Imbuement, rewards you with Super energy for kills made with Microcosm. Additionally, the weapon deals extra damage for a brief period after your Super ability ends. To complete the quest “Convalescence: Budding” in Destiny 2, follow these steps:
Start with “Rootbound”:
- You’ll pick up the first quest in the Convalescence chain, called “Rootbound,” while progressing through “Destined Heroes” after completing the campaign.
Complete Each Quest in Order:
- After “Rootbound,” finish each of the Convalescence quests in sequence until you reach “Budding” and earn Microcosm. These quests teach you about The Pale Heart destination and its activities.
Learn About Cooperative Focus Missions:
- In “Budding,” you’ll need to complete the Cooperative Focus mode versions of three campaign missions: Ascent, Dissent, and Iconoclasm.
Team Up:
- You’ll need at least one other Guardian to complete these missions. It’s best to have a full Fireteam of three, as the missions don’t scale. You can pair up with friends or use Fireteam Finder to find other players.
Find the Campaign Replay Nodes:
