How to Use the Digby Boy Deviant in Once Human?
To use the Digby Boy deviant effectively in Once Human, follow these steps:
Capture and Secure
After encountering a Digby Boy while mining Silver Ore (or occasionally Tin Ore), capture it by interacting with it after depleting its ore node. Take it to Lowe in Deadsville with 30 Copper Ore to complete the "Deviation Expert" quest and secure it in an Isolated securitization unit at your base.
Setup Securement Units
Build multiple Isolated Securement Units at your base. These units provide a safe environment for deviants like the Digby Boy to recharge and store collected resources.
Manage Deviant Power
Interact with the Securement Unit housing your Digby Boy. Use the gear icon on the interface to set specific Deviant Power levels. This controls how actively the Digby Boy collects ores autonomously.
Autonomous Resource Collection
Once set up, the Digby Boy will tirelessly gather various minerals across the game world, even when you're offline. It operates until its Deviant Power depletes, after which it recharges automatically in its containment unit.
Claim Resources
Periodically check the Securement Unit to claim the ores collected by the Digby Boy. Use the "Claim All" button to gather these resources, ensuring you have sufficient storage nearby to manage the collected materials effectively.
By following these steps, you can maximize the utility of the Digby Boy in Once Human, significantly enhancing your resource gathering capabilities without the need for continuous manual effort.
