How to Unlock Class Promotions in Unicorn Overlord?

Before you can start using class promotions to build your army, there are some things you need to do first. Unlocking this system will take some time, so don't rush the process. It's better to get as many characters unlocked as you can and then work on upgrading each one. To unlock this feature,

• First reach the renown rank B,
• Head to any fort you have liberated.
• Use 25 to 50 honors to promote your class.

The two most important things to do are reaching the B rank and farming honors. The cost of honors will depend on the class you choose. Some classes only require 25 honors, and some named characters need 50, so the cost will be quite high. However, there are plenty of ways to get honors in the game. As long as you have completed quests and deliveries, as well as optional battle stages you should be okay.

Game System

Individual battles start when your units engage the enemy in a battle stage, allowing you to coordinate tactics in advance and set conditions that determine when skills will be used.

Gameplay

The characters , locations and sprites in the Unicorn Overlord game are always represented by 2D art. Valor, a resource where you can deploy the number of units during combat sections which makes you earn by completing the battles. This combat is bifurcated into two parts: the moving troops and fighting troops when the two units come together. You can pause the game at any time to change your strategy and also you can check your units.

In this game you can unlock more character slots using a known as Honour. There are settings that change the gameplay: Open field environments and urban settings like towns and cities.

The battle in this game lasts until either side is defeated in the battlefield or until the action points are carried out.

Development

The design idea for Unicorn Overlord came to Noma in 2014, almost a decade before the game's release. Noma was approached by Vanillaware's founder, George Kamitani, after Vanillaware had finished production on Dragon’s Crown (2013). Kamitani encouraged Noma to lead the project, with Noma acting as director, character design, and lead programming. The game’s designer was Noma himself, and the game’s producer was Atlus’s Akiyasu Yamamoto.

Production was slow because Vanillaware was working on other projects at the time, such as ports of older titles, as well as 13 Sentinels (Eveis Rim). Noma was personally involved in the programming of 13 Sentinels.

By the time the game was ready to launch, Kamitani noticed that Vanillaware had run out of money and had to continue to fund the game out of his own pockets.
