How to Use Normal and Advanced Submissions in WWE 2K24

Wearing Down Opponents:

• Attack and grapple to damage your opponent's body parts, indicated by the redness on the body indicator.
• The more damaged a body part is, the easier it is to catch them in a submission.

Standing Submissions:

• Approach your opponent from the front or behind.
• Press R2 and Circle on PlayStation or RT and B on Xbox.
• Wait for the opponent to be stunned to avoid reversal.
• Some wrestlers like Bret Hart and Kurt Angle have submission-based finishing moves from a standing position.

Grounded Submissions:

• Upper Body Submission: Stand near the opponent's head and press R2 and Circle on PlayStation or RT and B on Xbox.
• Mid-Body Submission: Stand near the opponent's side and press R2 and Circle on PlayStation or RT and B on Xbox.
• Lower Body Submission: Stand near the opponent's legs and press R2 and Circle on PlayStation or RT and B on Xbox.

Reversal Into Submission:

• When facing opponents specializing in kicks, time the strike reversal by pressing Square or X on PlayStation, or X or Y on Xbox to catch their leg.
