Is Chance Leaving the Young and Restless?
No, there is no information suggesting that Chance is leaving the Young and Restless. News outlets suggest that Conner Floyd has not been completely removed from The Young and the Restless but has taken a smaller, recurring role. He also used his detective skills to help Summer’s family when Jordan took Harrison, bringing the boy back home safely. As Summer and Kyle fought over who should get custody of Harrison, Chance tried to support Summer. When the company was split into two, Chance became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the new Abbott-Chancellor business. Unfortunately, he then got caught between Billy and Lily as they disagreed on how to run things.
Who Plays Chance in the Young and Restless?
In February 2021, Boaz announced he was leaving the show, and in November 2021, Conner Floyd took over the role. The character was born in 1988 and has been played by different actors over the years. In 2000, future Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley played the role as a child.
In 2009, the character was grown up and played by John Driscoll. He left the show in 2010 but returned for a few appearances in 2011. The character’s name came up again in 2019, leading to his return in November of that year, played by Donny Boaz. In 2020, Justin Gaston temporarily took over because Boaz tested positive for COVID-19.
