This news may disappoint players who were looking forward to engaging with others on different platforms, especially given the popularity of multiplayer modes like Conquest, Capture the Flag, Hunt, and Assault, which support up to 64 players participating online.

However, the collection does support cross-generational multiplayer. Aspyr's correspondence with ItsMaverick1357 confirmed that cross-generational multiplayer is supported on the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the games.
