As the room grows darker, and strange sounds fill the air, Laura becomes more desperate to escape. She tries to flee, but finds herself trapped by a wall blocking her exit. He starts pulling at his face, which terrifies Laura even more. She refuses to look at him, covering her eyes and telling herself that none of it is real. However, the eerie atmosphere intensifies, and when Laura finally uncovers her eyes, the man appears before her, showing her his "true face." In a moment of sheer horror, Laura begins to pull at her own face, mirroring the man’s actions, and her eyes start to bleed as she screams in agony.

The ending leaves a haunting impression, as Laura’s fear of seeing the man’s true face seems to come true, with disastrous consequences for her.
