Linkin Park
Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Agoura Hills, California. The current lineup includes Mike Shinoda (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Brad Delson (lead guitar), Joe Hahn (turntables), Dave Farrell (bass), Colin Brittain (drums), and Emily Armstrong (co-lead vocals). Chester Bennington, who was the lead vocalist until his death in 2017, was a significant part of the band.
Linkin Park gained fame with their 2000 album Hybrid Theory, which was a big hit and certified Diamond. They continued their success with albums like Meteora (2003) and Minutes to Midnight (2007). Over the years, they experimented with different sounds, from heavy rock to more electronic and pop influences.
The band went on hiatus after Bennington’s death in 2017. They reunited in 2024 with a new album, From Zero, and new members Armstrong and Brittain.
Linkin Park is one of the best-selling bands of the 21st century, having sold over 100 million records worldwide. They have won numerous awards, including Grammy Awards and MTV Video Music Awards, and are known for their influential music and large fan base.
