Causes of Manor Lords Sawpit Not Working

Missing Staff or Ox

• Workers: Make sure you have assigned a family to work at the Sawpit. You can check this in the building menu
• Ox: The Sawpit might require an Ox to transport timber. Try assigning an Ox specifically to the Sawpit

Other Issues

Full Storage: There is a known bug where the Sawpit shows a Generic Storage Full message even when it's not. This is harmless and doesn't affect plank production. You can ignore it for now

Pathing: Double-check that the Sawpit is connected to your road network. This allows workers and the Ox to access it

Bugs: In rare cases, the Sawpit might be bugged. Try deconstructing it and rebuilding it in a different location

How to Fix Manor Lords Sawpit Not Working?

Check Supply Routes

• Ensure that there's a clear path for wood to reach the saw pit from the logging camp without any obstructions

Manage Storage

• Keep an eye on the log storage capacity of the saw pit and make sure it's not full. If it is, empty it to make space for more logs

Assign Workers

• Assign workers to the saw pit to operate it. Make sure they're not assigned to other tasks and have a clear path to reach the saw pit

Restart Production

• Try stopping and restarting production at the saw pit to see if it resolves any glitches in the production process

Replace the Saw Pit

• If the saw pit still doesn't work, try replacing it with a new one. Remove the old pit and build a new one in its place

Check Transportation

• Ensure that there are enough oxen available to transport logs to the saw pit. If not, consider purchasing more oxen to improve transportation efficiency
