Once Human Fishing Guide
Like in most games, fishing is a quick and convenient source of food in Once Human. While the game doesn't require this mechanic, those who choose to live near bodies of water can easily catch fish for meals.
Fishing in Once Human isn't terribly complicated, but it can be a bit confusing at first. If you've moved your base next to a river or lake and want to secure some free food, fishing is the way to go. Here's a short guide covering the basics of fishing.
Get a Fishing Rod
To get a fishing rod in games like "Once Human", you can make it or find it in specific places. In "Once Human," you can make a fishing rod by using 20 Logs and 10 Copper Ingots at a Supplies Workbench. Then, you select the Fishing Rod from the list of things you can make.
Get Fishing Bait
In "Once Human," you can make fishing bait by using things like Corn to create Dough Fish Bait. You can find Corn in certain farms, like Meyer's Market, especially at the start of the game.
Catch Fish
To catch fish, you usually need to have a fishing rod, choose the right bait, and throw the line into the water. In "Once Human," you can go to a big body of water, take out your fishing rod, choose the bait you want, aim the rod, and let go to throw the line. After that, you need to watch the progress bar while pulling in the fish, and move the fishing rod in the right direction to catch the fish. In Genshin Impact, you can fish by going to Fishing Points marked by ripples in the water, choosing the rod and bait, aiming near a fish, and then pulling it in using a special minigame.
Join the Surge of Fish Event
In "Once Human," you can take part in the Surge of Fish event after getting a fishing rod and putting bait on it. To start fishing, you aim where you want to throw the line and let it go. In this event, you need to pull in the fish within a certain time, watch the progress bar, and move the fishing rod in the right direction to catch the fish.
Once Human How to Fish?
To start fishing in "Once Human," make a Fishing Rod by bringing 20 Logs and 10 Copper Ingots to a Supplies Workbench, and then put it in an empty quickbar slot. Craft bait, like Dough Fish Bait using 1 Corn. Visit a big body of water, equip the rod, choose bait, cast the line, and fill up the "Hooked - Escape" bar while preventing the "Break - Slack" bar from emptying. When an icon glows, press and hold the left mouse button, moving the camera away from the fish. Avoid moving too far to avoid breaking the line. Once the top bar fills, you can keep or release the caught fish to cook more food in Once Human.
Once Human Gameplay
In "Once Human," players face a tough and harsh world. They use what they can find to get stronger, claim land, and take on tough monsters, secret groups, and corruption. The game has lots of tasks, like main missions, exploring, and dealing with urgent events to protect humanity.
The land is dangerous because of Stardust, and players have to be careful. There are also different challenges and special gameplay for players, and they can team up with others to fight, build, and explore in this multiplayer open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world.
