Pacific Drive Lightning Rod
Lightning Rod is an upgrade to your car that allows you to convert electrical energy from strikes to straight charge your battery. The Lightning Rod is unlocked through your Fabrication Station, found in the Battery section. To unlock the blueprint, you'll need the following: scrap metal x2, copper wire x12, electronics x6.
You’ll face obstacles like metal monsters that latch onto your car and weather conditions that affect your vehicle’s handling. Once the blueprint is fabricated, you can craft the Lightning Rod on your Workbench. However, you will need to have a Side Rack crafted & installed onto the rear end of your vehicle before you can access any of the racks to install the Lightning Rod.
Lightning Rod Use in Pacific Drive
The Lightning Rod is a passive object that does not need to be activated by pressing any buttons. Once it’s installed, you’ll be able to carry electrical strikes to your vehicle and charge them directly to your car’s battery. This is especially useful near Shock Towers or during lightning storms.
Keep in mind that electricity can still cause damage to your car, as it will now also charge your battery, so be cautious about how long you allow the electricity to last. If you’re running out of charge in your car battery, this is a great way to fix it. Especially if you’re going into junctions where the electrical charge is high, you’ll want to save up materials to make one and have it on hand at all times.
Pacific Drive
Pacific Drive is a survival game set in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The game is published by ironwood studios and published by kepler interactive. You can walk or drive your station wagon through this beautiful landscape on your way to freedom. The game takes place in first-person and introduces you to metal monsters that are always on the hunt for your vehicle.
The station wagon is more than just a means of survival, it’s a vehicle that can be repaired and customized at the player’s garage. “Pacific Drive” began in 2019 when Creative Director Alexander Dracott had a vision while driving along the Olympic Peninsula. "Pacific Drive" is a survival game released on 22 February 2024 for PS5 and Windows.
The game received positive reviews, praising its atmospheric atmosphere, well-designed characters, and well-crafted vehicle design. However, there were also some complaints about the repetitive and difficult gameplay. "Pacific Drive" is a survival game that offers a balance of fun and challenge.
Pacific Drive Gameplay
"Pacific Drive" is a survival game set in the Pacific Northwest in 1998. It takes place in the Olympic Expeditions Zone. The game takes place in first-person as you drive a station wagon through the wilderness. One of the game’s unique features is that you can customize your car at the player’s garage, which acts as the hub of operations. The vehicle’s diagnostics are controlled via a headset, so you can deal with things like odd car behavior, like the horn going off when you turn it on or off when you’re driving.
Repairs come in all shapes and sizes, from quick fixes like changing flat tires to blowtorch repairs to more complex tasks that can only be done in the garage. Inventing Station inside the garage becomes one of the game’s most important resources, allowing you to collect materials and build machines that open up new paths, boost the car’s power, and disrupt zones.
You’ll have to plan repairs and navigate electrical anomalies and obstacles. The journey isn’t just about surviving; you’ll find crafting recipes, plans, and side-quests with other characters to get out of the Olympic Expeditions Zone, all while gathering energy cores in every level to open gateways and get back to your garage.
