what I felt after watching the final episode of Palm Royale. When the finale ended, I was so surprised by how incomplete it felt that I checked Google to make sure I hadn't missed an episode. I’ve seen a lot of finales that leave things hanging, but this one didn’t even seem like it knew it was supposed to be a finale.

The whole season hinted at things that might happen, like when characters said, “You don’t know the things I’ve done.” But the last episode didn’t explain any of it. Even the framing scene from the pilot, with Maxine floating in water and talking to a mysterious male voice about how she snapped, wasn't revisited. It was like the show left out big parts of the story, leaving viewers with a lot of questions and not many answers.

Is Maxine Responsible for Her Downfall?

The big moment we've all been waiting for has arrived, and Maxine's dream beach ball is in full swing. Norma decides to propose to Robert, who agrees to impersonate Herkimer at the party. Meanwhile, Mary plans to shoot the President, Virginia and Linda are trapped in a room, and Douglas tries to guilt Maxine into signing over the Dellacorte estate.
