Pop rock bands Train and REO Speedwagon announced a joint tour for the summer, called the Summer Road Trip Tour. This 45-day concert series, which included supporting performances by the Yacht Rock Revue, was scheduled from July 8, 2024, to September 11, 2024.
They planned to perform in various North American cities, such as Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Charlotte, Houston, and Denver. The announcement was made on January 29, 2024, through each band's official Instagram page.

Reo Speedwagon
REO Speedwagon, originally styled as R.E.O. Speedwagon, is a rock band from Champaign, Illinois, formed in 1967. They gained a following in the 1970s and achieved major commercial success in the 1980s. Their best-selling album, "Hi Infidelity" (1980), featured four US Top 40 hits and sold over 10 million copies.
The band has sold more than 40 million records and had 13 Top 40 hits, including the number one singles "Keep On Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling."
