Rex Orange County
Alexander James O'Connor, known as Rex Orange County, is an English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born on May 4, 1998. His music blends hip-hop, jazz, and bedroom pop. He taught himself music production at 16 and released his debut album, Bcos U Will Never Be Free, in 2015.
His hit singles "Sunflower" and "Best Friend" and the album Apricot Princess gained him attention. Collaborations with Tyler, the Creator and signing with RCA Records boosted his career. His third album, Pony (2019), peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, while Who Cares? (2022) topped the UK charts.
