Risk of Rain 2 New Characters
Risk of Rain 2 has a big lineup of characters, and it's only getting bigger with the upcoming Seekers of the Storm update. It can be tough to get a quick understanding of each character since their descriptions aren't very helpful until you've spent a lot of time playing them. These two characters are new and haven't been played yet because the Seekers of the Storm update hasn't been released. This list will be updated after the update comes out.
- Seeker: A support character.
- CHEF: A character who specializes in cooking.
Seeker: The Support Character
Seeker is a unique character who specializes in mid-range combat with projectile attacks. She has two different crowd control abilities and can revive teammates. It seems best to focus on items that enhance her attack speed and mobility, but since she isn't available yet, you'll need to experiment to find what works best.

CHEF: Cooking Up Something Good
CHEF is a highly requested character that will be added in the upcoming DLC. He uses a boomerang-style cleaver that works well with on-hit items, especially when his attack speed is increased. CHEF is great at applying status effects, even without needing specific items, making items like Death Mark and Bleed very useful for him.

Risk of Rain 2
Risk of Rain 2 is a third-person shooter game with roguelike elements, developed by Hopoo Games and published by Gearbox Publishing. It’s the sequel to the 2013 game Risk of Rain. The game first came out in early access in 2019 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It officially released in August 2020, with a Stadia version following a month later. New versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are planned for August 2024.
