Star Citizen
Star Citizen is a multiplayer game set in space where you can trade and fight. It's being developed and published by Cloud Imperium Games for Windows PCs. Chris Roberts, who is leading the project, originally planned this game as an update to a previous project called Freelancer.
The game was announced in September 2012 through a crowdfunding page, and a successful Kickstarter campaign in October 2012 raised over $2 million. Development of the game began in 2010, and actual production started in 2011.
Star Citizen Gameplay
Star Citizen is a game that mixes elements from space simulation, first-person shooting, and massive online multiplayer games. It has four different gameplay modes, called modules, each offering a unique experience.
Hangar: Lets you view and customize your spaceships.
Arena Commander: Focuses on space combat and flying.
Star Marine: Features first-person shooting and ground combat.
These modules showcase various features you’ll also find in the main part of the game, called the Persistent Universe, but each module has its own special gameplay elements.
