PATCH HIGHLIGHTS
ROTATING SHOP INFOGRAPHIC
RIOT SUMMER BREAK
We’re taking a pause on TFT (and Riot) during the week of July 4 to unwind, recharge, and maybe push to the next rank on the ladder, Hyper Roll, or keep playing Pengu’s Party. This means patch 14.13 will last three weeks, until July 17th brings patch 14.14. Between now and then, we’ll still have a few more surprises and a full Tactician’s Crown (July 12,13,14) to boot. For a bit more context on our Summer break check out our Riot article here.
MIDDLE EAST (ME) SERVER
The ME server opens its digital doors on June 25, 2024 (today). Qualified accounts can transfer to the ME server for 1 Blue Essence from the moment the server opens until September 3, 2024. After that, the price will increase to the usual 2600 RP for a one-way transfer. Note that TFT Mobile will arrive at a later date further into the year.

SYSTEMS
GOLDEN ITEM REMOVER
A quality-of-life buff for the Golden Item Remover that’ll keep your bench space reserved for the most useful of consumables and more.
- All existing regular Item Removers on the player’s item bench are turned into Reforgers.
- If a player would gain new Item Removers, they are also turned into Reforgers (including from Augments).
PRISMATIC ORBS
So shiny, and now ever-so-slightly more available.
- Prismatic Orbs are more likely to drop (though still VERY VERY rare)
LARGE CHANGES
Large, like the party at Pengu’s place.
TRAITS
We’ve seen variations of Fated becoming both the most played and highest-performing comps in recent tournaments, so we’re giving it some targeted nerfs to bring down its strongest Fated combinations.
- Fated Ahri AP bonus: 30 ⇒ 27
- Fated Syndra Damage Amp bonus: 11% ⇒ 10%
- Inkshadow Damage Amp and Damage Reduction: 5/15/20% ⇒ 5/16/22%
- Sniper Damage Amp per hex: 8/17/33% ⇒ 8/18/35%
UNITS: TIER 4
She may be the only unit getting changes, but at least it’s a buff. Kai’Sa’s fallen out of favor, even in Trickshot focused comps, so we’re giving her a bit more AS to hit harder and reach that impactful tank-blasting cast faster.
- Kai’Sa AS: 0.8 ⇒ 0.85
AUGMENTS
Last patch we fixed a bug that had the on-death part of the Behemoth trait failing to trigger if the Behemoths were too far away. With its fix, the strongest version of the Behemoth comp got a lot stronger. We’re correcting this now with a nerf to Shen’s Ethereal Blades Hero Augment.
-
Built Different II HP: 220/300/380/480 ⇒ 240/330/420/530
-
Ethereal Blades (Shen) Ability Damage Amp: 100% ⇒ 85%
-
Storied Champion (Garen) Ability bonus true damage: 50% ⇒ 45%
ARTIFACT ITEMS
Cursed Blade has had a somewhat cursed track record that has continued into patch 14.13, where the discovery of an additional bug has forced our hand in temporarily disabling the Artifact ahead of our Tactician’s Crown patch. Upon reenabling at a later date (and with a fix) we aim to significantly buff the item which has struggled to cut through its cursed existence.
-
Cursed Blade has been temporarily disabled.
-
Luden’s Tempest AD: 35 ⇒ 40
-
Luden’s Tempest AP: 35 ⇒ 40
-
Prowler’s Claw AD: 30 ⇒ 40
-
Rapid Firecannon AS: 60% ⇒ 75%
SMALL CHANGES
Small, like this itty-bitty patch.
AUGMENTS
With these Augments combined, reroll Dryad’s getting a nice buff!
- Silver Ticket now grants 3 gold.
- Mulched (Dryad) Damage amp: 5% ⇒ 8%
5 YEAR BASH! MODE: PENGU’S PARTY
The 5 Year Bash continues with its second patch! With this patch we have a few balance changes for the additional traits in Pengu’s Party. As a reminder, the event ends July 15, just before our next patch (14.14) ships.
TRAITS OF THE PAST
Overall, we’re focusing on buffing the underperforming 2-pieces here, while only nerfing the two most powerful (and cute) ones.
Nomsy was incorrectly doing twice as much burn damage as intended at Trainer 2. Since Trainer is doing quite well, we can bring this down to its intended amount, while fixing an additional bug that will help her successfully cast if her target dies during her animation.
Yordle is everywhere, and rightfully so. It’s pretty easy to hit Veigar 3 right now, so we’re making the requirement to print Veigars a bit harder, and shipping a small nerf to the mode’s shortest and evilest unit.
- Coven Ability Power: 40/80 ⇒ 40/100
- Coven Mana Granted: 2/5 ⇒ 4/10 per ally cast
- Imperial Buffed Units: 2/4 ⇒ 2/5
- Mascot Base Health Regen: 1.5/6% ⇒ 1.5/7.5%
- Socialite Damage Amp: 15/40% ⇒ 20/60%
- Socialite Omnivamp: 0/15% ⇒ 0/25%
- Trainer Bugfix: If Nomsy’s target dies during her cast animation, Nomsy will choose a new target to cast at
- Trainer Bugfix: At Trainer 2, Nomsy’s burn damage reduced from 2% to 1%
- Yordle 3-stars required: 5 ⇒ 6
- Yordle Veigar Spell Damage: 300/450/777 ⇒ 270/400/777
BUG FIXES
- TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS: House of the Golden Rabbit and Dreams of Earth would become WAY too bright due to an interaction with another Arena. This has now been fixed.
- Tattoo of Protection now properly shields based on the unit’s maximum health at the time of casting.
- Talisman of Speed and Talisman of Might no longer sometimes fail to apply their buffs when traveling to another player’s board.
- Known Bug: We caught a visual bug in the Monsters Attack! Arena—it’s still playable, and only impacts Stage 1-2 (first PvE combat) but won’t be fixed until a future patch.
What Are The New Champions in 14.13 Patch?
In Teamfight Tactics Patch 14.13, there’s only one champion change: Kai’Sa receives a buff! Her attack speed has been increased from 0.8 to 0.85.
So, if you are a Kai’Sa fan, this could breathe new life into her performance.

Teamfight Tactics
Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is a strategy game created by Riot Games, known for League of Legends. It's based on Dota Auto Chess, where eight players compete online. Each player builds a team from a roster of champions and items, aiming to outlast their opponents.
Matches progress through rounds of combat where teams automatically battle based on their setup and positioning. Players earn gold to buy champions and items, strategically upgrading their team to gain advantages.
TFT was first released in 2019 as a mode within League of Legends and later as a standalone game for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, allowing players to compete across platforms.
Teamfight Tactics Gameplay
Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is a strategic game where eight players assemble teams to battle each other. They place units on a board made up of hexagons and watch them fight automatically. Rounds pit players against each other or computer-controlled foes.
Winning boosts your chances to earn gold, which you use to buy more units or save for later. As you progress, you can level up to field more units and find stronger ones. Units can be combined to become more powerful, and the items you collect can enhance their abilities.
Building a team with complementary traits gives you bonuses, adding depth to your strategy. Periodic updates keep the game fresh with new units and features.
