While the International Olympic Committee (IOC) does not compile official rankings, it acknowledges that the U.S. holds the top spot in medal counts. The Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage, which promotes Olympism in culture, heritage, and education, does keep a count of medals.

The Olympic Foundation counts one medal per event, regardless of the number of athletes competing, and does not include medals won in arts competitions or demonstration events. We are keeping track of the gold, silver, and bronze medals won by each country in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The 2024 Summer Olympics, also known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad and branded as Paris 2024, is an international sports event. It is happening from 24 July to 11 August 2024 in France.
