1. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (Hulu)

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a 2024 American science fiction action film directed by Wes Ball and written by Josh Friedman. This standalone sequel to War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) is the fourth entry in the reboot series and the tenth overall. Set 300 years after War, the film stars Owen Teague as Noa, a young chimpanzee, and Freya Allan as Mae, a human woman, as they embark on a journey to determine the future of both apes and humans.

Development began in April 2019 after Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, with Ball attached as writer and director by December. The screenplay was largely written during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and principal photography took place in Sydney from October 2022 to February 2023. Premiering at the TCL Chinese Theatre on May 2, 2024, the film received positive reviews and grossed over $397 million worldwide, making it the tenth-highest-grossing film of 2024.

Presumed Innocent is an American legal thriller series crafted by David E. Kelley, inspired by Scott Turow's 1987 novel of the same name. This adaptation marks the first television version of the book, following the 1990 film that featured Harrison Ford and Brian Dennehy. The series debuted on Apple TV+ on June 12, 2024. In July 2024, it was announced that the show would return for a second season.

5. Batman: Caped Crusader (Prime Video)

Batman: Caped Crusader is an American animated series inspired by the DC Comics character Batman. Developed by Bruce Timm and produced by Bad Robot Productions, 6th & Idaho Motion Picture Company, Warner Bros. Animation, and DC Studios, it premiered on August 1, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video. A PG-13 version titled Once Upon a Deadpool was released in December 2018. Following Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, a sequel, Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, was released on July 26, 2024, as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
