Red Diamonds

This doesn’t mean it will definitely happen, but it’s a warning. Instead of going after a high-star player with a Red Diamond, you might want to focus on a three-star player with a Green Diamond who could develop into a top player with your help.

College Football 25 Development
After releasing its last college football game in 2013, EA Sports faced a lawsuit from former players who said their names and images were used without their permission. The NCAA, which EA had licensed, did not want to pay athletes. As a result, EA decided to stop making college football games.
In 2021, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the NCAA could no longer avoid paying athletes. This led to new rules allowing players to earn money for their likenesses. By 2023, EA announced that their new college football game would feature real player likenesses again.
In February 2024, EA said they would pay each athlete $600 and give them a copy of the game for using their likeness. If athletes chose not to participate, they would be replaced with generic characters. By early March 2024, over 10,000 athletes had agreed. The game, developed with the Frostbite engine, includes the Heisman Trophy and several bowl games, though only the Lou Groza Award was included by the National College Football Awards Association.
What Platforms is EA College Football 25 Available on?
EA College Football 25 is available on Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, it is not available for PC gamers, so you’ll need to choose one of these consoles to play.
