What Happened to Jim Harbaugh?
Jim Harbaugh, the coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, left the game against the Denver Broncos because of a heart condition. Before the game started, he went into the blue medical tent for help. The team said he might not return, so Jesse Minter, the defensive coordinator, took over as acting head coach while Jim was away.
After a short while, Jim came back to the sidelines during the first quarter, which made everyone feel relieved. His brother, John Harbaugh, who coaches the Baltimore Ravens, had to stop his press conference when he heard Jim was in the medical tent. Jim Harbaugh Career
Jim Harbaugh was an unpaid assistant coach at Western Kentucky University for eight years while he played in the NFL. He worked with his father, Jack Harbaugh, to find and recruit high school players in states like Florida and Indiana. Jim helped bring in 17 players who helped WKU win the national championship in 2002.
After that, Jim became the quarterback coach for the Oakland Raiders, where he worked with Rich Gannon, the NFL MVP in 2002. Later, he was the head coach at the University of San Diego, winning two championships. He also coached Stanford University before becoming the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in 2011.
