What Happened to Lulu Conner?
U.S. water polo captain Maggie Steffens is feeling very sad at the Paris Olympics because her sister-in-law, Lulu Conner, passed away just before the Games started. Lulu, who was 26, had traveled to Paris to support Steffens as she aimed for her fourth straight gold medal. The family is still figuring out what happened, but Steffens said it was a "medical emergency."
Steffens spoke about her deep sadness and how much she admired Lulu in an interview. She said Lulu was like a light, embodying the Olympic spirit, and she always brought joy to everyone around her.

Lulu Conner, who was 26 and the younger sister of Maggie Steffens' husband Bobby Conner, passed away after a medical emergency. Lulu loved traveling, had been a camp counselor, and was also an artist who gave her all in everything she did.
The family hasn't shared the exact cause of Lulu's death yet. Despite this, Bobby and their family are staying in Paris to support Steffens as she tries for her fourth gold medal. Steffens believes that Lulu's spirit is still with them in Paris and hopes to make her proud.
