What Happened to Maggie on FBI?
The sixth season of FBI is ending on CBS with lots of action, but Maggie has been missing in recent episodes. She's been focusing on being a parent to Ella, which worries fans about losing her from the show. However, She has confirmed that she's not leaving. Maggie last appeared on FBI in the April 23 episode. In that episode, Maggie almost died when a bullet hit her vest. The close call made Maggie realize Ella could have been orphaned again, and OA noticed her distress. OA then told Isobel that Maggie should take a break to be with Ella, as Maggie wouldn't do it on her own.
OA didn't like going over Maggie's head, but Maggie and Ella are now visiting her grandparents in Akron. Despite occasional conflicts, Maggie appreciates the break and doesn't blame OA for his decision. FBI is renewed for three more seasons so we don't need to worry about season 6 ending while Maggie alone took a break due to some personal reasons as per the show's storyline.
