What Happened to Zenitsu in the Hashira Training Arc?

The letter Zenitsu finds in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba delivers heartbreaking information regarding the demise of his guide, Jigoro Kuwajima. Jigoro, who was once a member of the Thunder Hashira and the instructor to both Zenitsu and Kaigaku in the Thunder Breathing Technique, committed seppuku (ritual suicide) as a way to atone for Kaigaku's treachery.
