The Chewbacca NPC is located at the new Imperial Roadblocks placed around the map. There are several of them, but Chewbacca will only appear at one at a time in every Battle Royale match. Keep an eye out for the blue smoke coming out of this sky. That smoke tells you where to find the Wookiee.

If you want to make Chewbacca your ally, you’ll need to land at his Imperial site, where he’s based, and take out the stormtroopers there. It’s always best if there are two of them, otherwise Chewbacca will fight them both.

Once they’re both dead, Chewbacca rumbles and drops a Wookiee bowcaster, then pledges himself to the player who killed the stormtroopers. He’s your buddy now, and you didn’t need any gold to get him. Chewbacca can’t be resurrected or rebooted if he’s killed, but you can get rid of him if you recruit another NPC around the map.

How To Get Chewbacca in Fortnite?

If you want to get Chewbacca, you’ll need to buy Premium Reward Track in your new LEGO Pass in order to get him. You’ll find it in the Item Shop at the bottom of this page, under Passes, under the Crew tab. Alternatively, if you’re playing as Chewbacca on the LEGO Pass, you can get him in the LEGO mode for 1, 400 V-Buck.

Once you’re in the LEGO mode and you’ve selected the LEGO Pass, head to the “LEGO Pass” screen, where you’ll be asked to upgrade to “Premium Reward Track.” If you’re wondering how much V-Buck Chewbacca costs in LEGO, the answer is “1,400”.
