Where to Find Western Bridge Key in No Rest for the Wicked?

The Western Bridge Key in No Rest for the Wicked isn't found near the door it unlocks, but is acquired through a side quest. Here's how to get it:

  • Initiate the "Innkeeper's Husband" quest. This starts after defeating Warrick the Torn and reaching the town of Sacrament. Speak to Caroline, the innkeeper there, about her missing husband.
  • Once you have the quest, return to the Shallows area, your starting location.
  • Head west from your starting point. Look for a tower right above the Cerim Whisper landmark. Climb the two ladders on this tower.
  • At the top, jump over the broken bridge. You'll find the Innkeeper's Husband (marked with a gold exclamation point) and a dead body with the Western Bridge Key next to it.
  • Grab the key and use it to unlock the Western Bridge door back in Mariner's Keep. This door is north of the blue-glowing pit in that area. Unlocking it progresses the "Innkeeper's Husband" quest.

Where to find The Innkeeper's Husband?

You'll find the Innkeeper's Husband, Gordon, in a bit of a predicament in No Rest for the Wicked. Here's where to look:

  • Start the Quest: This is crucial. Talk to Caroline, the innkeeper in the town of Sacrament, after defeating Warrick the Torn. Exhaust her dialogue options to receive the "Innkeeper's Husband" quest.
  • Backtrack to the Shallows: Once you have the quest, head back to the Shallows, the area where you started the game.
  • Tower by the Cerim Whisper: Locate the tower structure standing west of your starting point on the beach. This tower has the first Cerim Whisper point (glowing blue) at its base.
  • Ascend the Tower: Climb the two ladders on the outside of the tower.
  • Jump the Gap: At the top, you'll encounter an enemy. Deal with them and then make a jump over the broken bridge.
  • Find Gordon: You'll spot Gordon (marked by a gold exclamation point) stranded on the other side of the broken bridge. He'll be quite grateful for your help!
  • There you have it, that's where to find the Innkeeper's Husband in No Rest for the Wicked. Remember, you'll also find the Western Bridge Key near him, which unlocks a previously inaccessible door in Mariner's Keep.

How to unlock the Western Bridge?

  • To fix your stuff, go back to Sacrament and use the Whisper to return.
  • Find the Fire Pit, take the right path to a broken wall, go through it, then take the left path by some small steps.
  • Watch out for enemies throwing fire bombs. Go up the stairs, through an archway, and around a spiral without using doors.
  • Climb a ladder, stick to the left wall to find the Western Bridge Door. Be careful of enemies. Deal with a tough enemy behind the door, then use a wheel to open a gate.
  • Don't go up stairs, instead, take the first left to find a chest.
  • Follow the path to a bridge, go across to find another fire pit and a ladder.

What is Western Bridge Key in No Rest for the Wicked?

In No Rest for the Wicked, the Western Bridge Key is an item used to progress a side quest called "The Innkeeper's Husband." It doesn't directly unlock a physical western bridge, but rather a door that leads to the next part of the quest.

Here's a breakdown of the Western Bridge Key:

  • Function: Opens a locked door in Mariner's Keep.
  • Acquisition: Found near the Innkeeper's Husband during the "The Innkeeper's Husband" side quest.
  • Location: Top of a tower west of your starting point in the Shallows area (look for the Cerim Whisper landmark).
  • While it might seem the key unlocks a bridge based on its name, it functions more like a key to a hidden passage connected to the quest.
