In a special episode on May 2, 2024, "The Young and the Restless" focuses on Nikki and Jack. They face big troubles when Jack sees Nikki drunk at the Athletic Club. Jack wants to help her with her drinking problem, but Nikki doesn't listen. She feels guilty about Jordan and the chaos in Genoa City. Jack keeps trying to convince Nikki to stop drinking and go to rehab.

But she gets angry and says Jack failed as her sponsor, hurting him. Frustrated, Jack drinks vodka and calls his old pill dealer, shocking Nikki. She tries to stop him, but he takes pills and drinks more. In the end, Jack is unconscious, and Nikki desperately tries to wake him up. This could lead to big problems for both characters in Genoa City.
