Big Brother Format
Big Brother is a reality TV show where contestants, called HouseGuests, live in a specially built house filled with cameras and microphones recording their every move all day, every day. They are segregated from the outside world and communicate only in private spaces known as the Diary Room. They fight for safety and power every week. The Head of Household (HoH) competition is the first event in which the winner gets to keep their house and gets to choose two other people to be evicted.

All HouseGuests cast votes to remove one of the nominees on eviction night, with the exception of the HoH and the nominees. The HoH breaks ties when there are any. The Jury, consisting of the evicted HouseGuests, selects the season's victor.
The surprise in Big Brother 26 is artificial intelligence (AI), or "BBAI." The AI controls the game as a covert seventeenth houseguest. While some voters for BBAI have unique advantages in the game, others have to deal with various difficulties that may affect how they play. This season adds a distinctive touch to the show by examining the ways in which AI interacts with conventional gaming dynamics.

Where to Watch Big Brother Season 26?
Big Brother season 26 aired on CBS on July 17, 2024, at 9/8c. Viewers could watch it live on Fubo, DirecTV Stream, or Paramount+ with Showtime if they didn't have cable. New users were able to sign up for free trials of all three services. The season began on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET and will be continuing on Wednesdays and Thursdays thereafter.
