Who is Ruby's Mother in Doctor Who?

Louise Miller is revealed to be Ruby Sunday's mother in Doctor Who. Many of her fans were surprised by this discovery because they had different beliefs regarding who she was. Unlike Susan or River Song, Louise Miller is just a regular mom who had to give up her daughter in order to live a better life.

"Empire of Death," the season finale, features an emotional reunion between Ruby's mother and herself in a coffee shop. Ruby is informed by Louise that she frequently considered spending Christmas with her. They choose to spend time together going through more than five hundred pictures from Ruby's life.

In addition, Ruby's father's identity is disclosed. It turns out to be William Garnett, thanks to UNIT's DNA testing in 2046. The end of the season will see Ruby and her mother visit him, providing a touching coda to Ruby's family saga.

Filming for the second season of Ruby Sunday's Doctor Who has already concluded and will air on BBC iPlayer and Disney Plus. Ruby will keep traveling with the Doctor, who will be accompanied by Varada Sethu's new travel partner Mundy Flynn.

Doctor Who Plot

The adventures of the Time Lord Doctor, who fled their home planet Gallifrey in a taken time machine known as the TARDIS, are the subject of the television series Doctor Who.
