Who is Cassandra Nova?

Cassandra Nova is a big-time villain in the X-Men world, and she is making her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming Deadpool movie directed by Shawn Levy. She is known as one of the toughest enemies the X-Men face, up there with villains like Apocalypse and Mister Sinister.

Here is the twist, Cassandra Nova is actually the evil twin sister of Professor Charles Xavier. You know, the leader of the X-Men who's all about peace and understanding mutants? Well, his sister is the exact opposite. She is mean, powerful, and wants to cause chaos.

Even though she is not as famous as her brother, she is just as dangerous. Plus, she has all the same psychic powers as him, like reading minds and moving things with her thoughts. So when she shows up, you know it's going to be a big showdown for the X-Men!

Power of Cassandra Nova

Cassandra Nova has some seriously scary powers, just like her twin brother, Charles Xavier, aka Professor X from the X-Men. First off, she's got psychic abilities, which means she can mess with people's minds. She can read thoughts, control emotions, and even make people see things that aren't there.

But wait, there's more! Cassandra also has telekinetic powers, kind of like Jean Grey, one of the strongest mutants in the X-Men. This means she can move things with her mind, like making objects float or even throwing them around without touching them.

Now, here's where it gets really creepy. In the comics, Cassandra isn't just a regular mutant. She is what's called a Mummudrai, which is like a spooky parasite that was with Charles when they were both still in their mom's belly.

She tried to hurt Charles even before they were born! But he fought back with his own powers, accidentally causing their mom to lose the baby. So, technically, Cassandra was never really born, but she somehow came back to life and now she's out for revenge against her brother and all his X-Men friends. She's definitely not someone you'd want to mess with!

Who Plays Cassandra Nova?

In the movie, Emma Corrin plays the role of Cassandra. You may have seen her in the Netflix series “The Crown”, where she played Princess Diana in the third season. In the trailer for “The Crown,” Emma Corrin can be seen in a bald look. This is a departure from her usual look.

There is a scene in which she is seen floating out of what appears to be Ant-Man’s mouth. This scene adds to the suspense of the character. In addition to her work in "The Crown", Emma Corrin has also starred in other films such as “My Policeman” and “Lady Chatterley’s Lover.” It’s great to see Emma Corrin in a new role, especially with her distinctive bald look in the trailer.
