Chrissie was on the show for 18 months from 2004 until she left in December 2005. The BBC had already announced her return, and now fans got their first look at her in a new trailer. The trailer showed intense scenes of Chrissie, along with the warning message, "Watch your back."

Who is Tracy-Ann Oberman?
Tracy-Ann Oberman is an English actress, playwright, and narrator. She's known for playing Chrissie Watts in EastEnders (2004–2005, 2024) and Auntie Val in the comedy Friday Night Dinner (2011–2020).
After training at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, she spent four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company and later worked at the National Theatre. She acted alongside Kenneth Branagh in Edmond (2003) and appeared in the West End revival of Boeing-Boeing (2007–2008). In 2011, she performed in Earthquakes in London as Sarah Sullivan. Oberman has also been in over 600 radio plays since the mid-1990s.
