Who is Chrissie Watts in Eastenders?

Chrissie Watts is a character from the soap opera EastEnders. The character is played by Tracy-Ann Oberman. After Sharon struggled while testifying, the judge sent her to prison for being disrespectful in court. Who is Tracy-Ann Oberman?

Tracy-Ann Oberman is an English actress, playwright, and narrator. She's known for playing Chrissie Watts in EastEnders (2004–2005, 2024) and Auntie Val in the comedy Friday Night Dinner (2011–2020).

After training at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, she spent four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company and later worked at the National Theatre. She acted alongside Kenneth Branagh in Edmond (2003) and appeared in the West End revival of Boeing-Boeing (2007–2008). In 2011, she performed in Earthquakes in London as Sarah Sullivan. Oberman has also been in over 600 radio plays since the mid-1990s.
