Who went Home on American Idol Tonight?
To know who got eliminated from American Idol, we have to wait until April 14. On the Showstopper round, the top 24 contestants were announced and all the 24 contestants performed on April 7 and April 8. On each day, Group A consisting of 12 contestants performed on April 7, and Group B consisting of 12 contestants performed on April 8. The audience cast their vote and chose the best performers. According to the votes, four contestants will be eliminated. It will be telecast on April 14 on Sunday at 8 pm so don't miss it.
After the eviction of four contestants, the Top 20 will be revealed. Until the final, this will be repeated. Then on that last day, the winner will be selected. The show will be more interesting in the upcoming days as the contestants have to perform well and compete with others to win the title.
American Idol Season 22
The 22nd season of American Idol started on February 18, 2024, on ABC. Ryan Seacrest is the host again, and the judges are Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie. Katy Perry left the show on February 13, 2024, as she is working on her Album and started her world music tour.
The Idol Across America virtual auditions happened again. People could audition from home between August 2 and September 8, 2023. There were also some auditions where people could go in person. The producers picked contestants from these auditions. Then, those chosen got to audition in front of the judges. The "platinum ticket" came back from the last two seasons. In the auditions, they gave out three platinum tickets. The people who got platinum tickets were Odell Bunton Jr., Abi Carter, and Julia Gagnon.
Hollywood week happened on December 10, 2023, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. In the Showstopper round, the top 56 contestants sang for the judges and a live audience at the Barker Hangar. They filmed this round on December 11, 2023, and it was shown on TV on April 1, 2024.
