Will Stellar Blade be on PC?
No, Stellar Blade is not releasing on PC because it's been developed as an exclusive game for PlayStation 5. The decision was made by SHIFT UP CEO and Stellar Blade Director Kim Hyung Tae, who wanted to focus on delivering the best possible gameplay experience on a single platform.
He chose PlayStation 5 because he believed it would offer the most optimal experience for players. Additionally, the technical director Dongi Lee, considered features like the fast loading of the SSD and adaptive triggers of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller to make the game feel even more real for players, they decided to release it only on PS5.
Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade is a forthcoming action-adventure game, where the focus of battles is understanding how enemies attack and responding with exact timing.
In Stellar Blade, you control Eve and her team as they arrive on Earth to restore it. They meet a survivor named Adam who guides Eve to Xion, the last city standing. There, she learns from Orcal, the city's elder, about its history. As you play, you'll make choices that affect how Eve interacts with the survivors and fulfills her mission. You'll also gain special skills, like Beta Skills and Burst Skills, to use in battles against powerful bosses and enemies.
Stellar Blade is Shift Up's first AAA gae, previously known as Project EVE until its official reveal on September 13th, 2022. While initially announced for PC (Steam), PS4, and Xbox One in 2019, it was confirmed as a PS5 console exclusive in 2022.
The game uses the special features of the PlayStation 5 controller to let players feel the impact of enemy attacks and how well they aim weapons. You can move around by climbing walls and swinging on ropes, and there are hidden rewards like new outfits to find. In the game, there are also other characters who might ask Eve to do extra tasks.

Release
Stellar Blade is set to launch on the PlayStation 5 on April 26, 2024. Initially it was planned to release in 2023, later it was postponed to 2024. The release date was officially confirmed during a January 2024 State of Play event.
Also a trial version of the game became available on the PlayStation Store worldwide on March 29, 2024. However, there was an accidental early release in the United States on March 8, which was quickly adjusted.
